Terms of Service

Last updated: August 31, 2026

These Terms of Service explain the rules for using HiveTalk. By accessing or using HiveTalk, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

HiveTalk provides browser-based video and audio rooms, chat, recording, Nostr integrations, and related relay and API services. Features may change as the service develops.

Acceptable use

You are responsible for your use of HiveTalk and the content you share. You must not use the service for unlawful activity, abuse, harassment, impersonation, spam, or to interfere with the service or other users.

Please make sure you have the rights and permissions needed to share content or record conversations. You are responsible for complying with any laws that apply to your use of the service.

Subscriptions and refunds

Paid plans are purchased with sats and provide the rooms, recording, and API entitlements described on the Subscribe page. You may refund your purchase in 14 days by contacting us.

Your content

You retain responsibility for the content and events you publish or share through HiveTalk. By using the service, you grant HiveTalk the permissions needed to operate the service and deliver your content to the people and clients you choose.

Availability and changes

We work to keep HiveTalk available and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features when necessary.

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page, and your continued use of HiveTalk after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to HiveTalk when necessary, including when these terms are violated or the service is being misused. You may stop using the service at any time.

Third-party services

HiveTalk may link to or integrate with third-party services, including Nostr relays, Lightning wallets, and external client applications. Those services have their own terms and policies, and HiveTalk is not responsible for their availability or operation.

Disclaimer and liability

HiveTalk is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HiveTalk is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights or protections that cannot lawfully be limited.
